The seminar addresses the initiation of third-cycle studies in higher artistic and musical education from an organisational and functional perspective. It focuses on the definition of artistic research and its evaluation criteria, supported by data and practical examples, with the aim of establishing objective parameters for professionals in artistic and creative research. The seminar’s objective is to explore the tangible opportunities available across different European institutions, providing specific examples from which common elements can be derived to develop a standardised evaluation framework. The programme is structured with thematic sessions, discussion opportunities, and workshop activities, maintaining a balanced rhythm between formal presentations and collective discussions.
